last raven

I've been doing all these raven pieces, trying to get a good one for a friend's birthday, and this one I like the best. It was fun to paint too.

If the artist's sketchbook is an eye on the world, then your eyes are surely focused on the world around you. Your drawings are impressive in their clarity and spontaneity. Personally I am partial to the streetscapes...my own fondness for things architectural.

This is amazing! The black on black of a crow seems so hard to illustrate. You have done it so well!! I realy like this painting

thanks genine! that really was the hardest part about this painting, the black on black, trying to make convincing shine without making the feathers look white. I'm glad you see it working :)
