charcoal

21" x 28"
charcoal on watercolor paper

what I would do next time is tone the entire paper first with either a mass sweep of charcoal, or watercolor in light shade.

are you able to make a good living with where you are with your art right now ester?

i make some money and I'm comfortable enough. My art is not at the level I would like it to be, and I'm considering taking on serious painting study.

excellent.

I love that technique of charcoaling the paper first and using an eraser for lighter tones. I look forward to seeing it.
