2 books at once

I found a happy medium, working in two sketchbooks at one time. The Handbook works well with pencil, the other Fabriano for everything under the sun, so I'm happy with the setup.

Also, I found a manga that I liked, called 12 days. It's illustrated well with a good story by June Kim:
