out line

little drawing done in my moleskine with some walnut ink, and after adding some stripes in photoshop, it's a completely different animal now. Pretty fun stuff, playing around.

it's amazing what a difference a few stripes can make.

My most recent post is much the same. I just threw some color over a sketchbook page and BAM! something far more intersting than just drawings of girls.

Less is more and all that, right?

Good stuff.

thanks sail :) Less can definitely be helpful. Might be fun to do some themed work of "less is more"...

This is really beautiful. I especially like the sinuous lines and the subtle shading. I've been "lurking" around your blog for a while, and I just have to say that I love your work...it's so beautifully rendered and so full of fancy and imagination. You have a truly wonderful eye and touch!
