ancients

drawing of my great grandmother, in frame. She graduated from Pratt in NY in the early 1900's, and her drawings are beautiful. This teapot still life is her work:

Hey, great teapot drawing. Good thing the paper has survived. I have stuff from my school that's already crumbling.

I like the portrait too. There's lots of talent in your family :).

Ester, thank you so much for the lovely comments in my blog ... especially after I've taken a look at your drawings, they are so beautiful I'm at a loss for words. I love your style, detail, use of colour and lines and shading ... absolutely everything. Gorgeous.

I've just stumbled across your artwork on Illus.mundo, fell in love with the colors, and decided to stay and make it home. No, just kidding. But I must say that it has been a spot of brightness in a dreary day of deskwork. Thankyou for the beauty you push across pages!
