illo friday - match

Illustration Friday - Match. I remember one of my favorite games when I was little was the tile match game, where you flip one tile over, remember what it looks like, then match it up with its mate. Maybe it was called "Memory" too. It was a solitary game, which made it fun all the time. So I wanted to make my own tiles, thinking of that game and all the matches I would store in my memory.

Looks good. I like the style. It looks like something that would work well for an interior designer...would look great on a wall!

The pale dark green and beautiful flowers combine have created
a warm and very tranquil feeling.

Ester, as usual I love your delicate style. It reminds me of a contemporary art deco master artist. Always wonderful!

thanks all. I appreciate all the feedback.

Steve - no they are not ceramic tiles. I painted the surface of some chipboard and cut them into 3" x 3" squares to draw onto with walnut ink.
