creative dry spell

It's been hot. Way hot, with very little water dropping from the sky this summer. The dry spell steals my creativity sometimes too. Picked up the new thom york cd today: "Harrowdown Hill" is my favorite song on it. Very beautiful.

Hi Ester,

Once again, LOVE your work. I just visited your website and fell in love with your work on wood. Your work reminds me of contemporary art deco along the lines of gustav glimt. I really liked the belly button with horns (a little nod to georgia o'keefe, eh?). Anyway, just wanted to say that I'm sure I will be seeing your children's book in bookstores soon! Check out the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators on my blog. They are sure to have a chapter in your area.

cheers,

Linda

I love this drawing. When it rains, it will be sweeter for the thirst, and clear so that all life will be happy to have seen it.
