gemini birthday!

We celebrated Ami's birthday early yesterday, and I gave her a painting that I made just for her. She looked at it, and 2 seconds later said "it's gemini!". I smiled. I'm glad she liked it. We went to sushi and had great times. I'm still trying to get the hang of loosening up and developing more of a "sketchbook" look to my final art, but I have found some really great inspiration of late, so I'm going to work on it for awhile. I keep wanting to pigeon-hole myself too fast by doing something, and then feeling like "this is it...this is the style that I need to keep". But it changes, and that's what I have to realize. Not too different from life, as life is constantly in flux.
