Cat for Illustration Friday

Just finished a painting that I called "Leo" in my mind, and then Illo Friday calls for cats, so here is my big kitty reference.

With close up. It's so darn small on the screen, when I'm used to seeing it at full size of 12" x 19". I'm still debating whether to paint the "flame shape" coming out of her mouth...I don't know what color it would have to be.

Ester! You are so prolific! I really like the flow and composition. I think it would help to paint the flame in the same manner as the rest. Keep it a light color, maybe light orange or even peach.

The flame should match her mane!
